Students learn contemporary molecular genetic research methods, including those based on the omics technologies. Master students carry out the work on the experimental part of their final qualification thesis using modern research equipment (PCR-analyzer, sequencer, mass-spectrometer, and chromatographer) of the genetics laboratories of the Interdisciplinary center of proteomic and genomic research.

After completing the Master’s program graduates may pursue the following career paths: 

1) research work in the field of fundamental biology at biological, medical and agricultural research institutes;

2) practical activities in medical genetics consulting centers, clinical laboratories in medical and veterinarian institutions, genetic and forensic laboratories, as well as in biological centers;

3) teaching activists in educational institutions
