The programme aims to train foreign policy and foreign economy experts. The basis of the programme includes methods of complex analysis of political and economic problems and the international relations development trends, as well as a study of the political and economic problems of some of the most important regions of the world. A special focus is placed on issues of strengthening correlations between the economy and politics in modern international affairs.
The programme is a logical follow-on to the undergraduate programme in international relations taught at the HSE Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs. The programme today includes two specializations: Asian studies and European studies.
