Research areas are: methods and techniques for optimizing the design and construction of ships, ships and other objects of marine technology; renew programs of fleets with new objects of marine transport.
The research subject is:
- fleets and ships (transport, fishing, naval, research, etc.);
- groups of ships (tankers, cargo ships, passenger liners, ferries, trawlers, rescuers, patrol ships, icebreakers, transport container or lighter systems, floating drilling rigs together with other technical means of ocean development);
- hydrofoils, hovercraft and other non-traditional craft and ships;
- structures, devices, systems and equipment of ships, ships, ocean engineering and other floating marine structures.
The professional activity of program graduate students includes:
- research, educational, design and engineering, production and technological, organizational and managerial, expert activities in design, construction, repair, modernization and disposal of ships and vessels of all types and purposes;
- study and development of the World Ocean in the interests of maritime transport;
- ensuring the safety and requirements of international and national legislation in the field of water transport.
Types of professional activities of graduates are preparing:
- research activities in the field of shipbuilding and water transport;
teaching activity in the field of shipbuilding and water transport.
Period of study: full time – 4 years, part-time – 5 years
