Mechanical engineering is one of the most significant areas of human activity, which unites aircraft engineering, shipbuilding, instrument making, automotive, rocketry and many other industries. Mechanical engineering technology solves the questions of how machines, devices and other devices can be manufactured. In the process of training, graduates study the mutual influence of mechanical, physical, dimensional, temporal, informational, economic and organizational parameters. They also acquire the skills of developing theoretical issues of technological support and improving the quality of mechanical engineering products with the lowest production cost. The training of graduates allows them to carry out scientific research, experimental design and experimental technological development, effectively solve the issues of designing technological processes, developing technological equipment, managing production processes, including the development and implementation of modern tools and systems for automation of design and management. The area of professional activity of graduates who have mastered the postgraduate program "Technology of Mechanical Engineering" includes:

a set of means, methods and methods of activity aimed at theoretical development and experimental research of problems associated with the creation of competitive domestic products;

replenishment and improvement of the knowledge base, national technological environment, its security, knowledge transfer; identification and substantiation of the relevance of the problems of mechanical engineering, technological machines and equipment, their design, applied mechanics, automation of technological processes and industries for various purposes, design and technological support for machine-building industries, mechatronics and robotics;

the need to solve these problems on the basis of theoretical and experimental research, the results of which have novelty and practical value, ensuring their implementation both in production and in the educational process;

 

creation of new (at the level of world standards) and improvement of existing technologies for manufacturing products of machine-building industries, various means of equipping them;

development of new and improvement of modern automation tools and systems, technological machines and equipment, mechatronic and robotic systems, control automation systems, control and testing, design methods, mathematical, physical and computer modeling of products, technological processes and machine-building industries, tools and systems for their design -technological support based on the methods of kinematic and dynamic analysis, synthesis of mechanisms, machines, systems and complexes;

work on the introduction of comprehensive automation and mechanization of production processes in mechanical engineering, contributing to an increase in the technical level of production, labor productivity, competitiveness of products, ensuring favorable conditions and safety of labor;

feasibility study of new technical solutions, search for optimal solutions in conditions of various requirements for the quality and reliability of the created mechanical engineering objects.

Brief description of the content of the educational program.

Disciplines studied: History and philosophy of science, Organizational and managerial foundations of higher education, Modern educational technologies in higher education, Methodology for solving scientific problems, Theoretical foundations of the formation of technological processes. Technology, organization and project management. Methods for performing and processing experimental studies. Conducting theoretical research. Experimental research on technologies for machining, casting, bending, stamping, pressing, etc., as well as assembly, adjustment, quality control and testing. Application of modern computer technologies in research, design and management of machine-building production. Innovative directions in the development of mechanical engineering technology.
