Program goal: The objective of the program is to contribute to building a global elite group of professionals in public administration with all necessary theoretical and practical skills in the field of development of projects and programs in sustainble solid waste management, participating in planning solid waste management business processes and providing its logistic, marketing and financial support, able to act as competent and responsible leaders at international copoperation in this sphere, creating environment for innovative development in the sphere of sokid waste management in local, regional, national and international levels.
The goal of the program is the training of highly qualified professionals for employment in public administration field in such specific key areas as creating and management of sustainable solid waste management programs; international entrepreneurship in the sphere of solid waste management; legal issues of solid waste management; project risk assessment in solid waste management; international cooperation in solid waste management; financial support and budgeting in sustainable solid waste management.
The contents of the program meet the challenges and economic and managerial training requirements that are dictated by the dynamic internationalization of the environmental sphere and “green” entrepreneurship sector. It is infused with the spirit of innovation, change, team work combined with a personalized approach and personal development.
The program is designed in modules, which include legal, managerial and administrative issues of sustainable solid waste management. The list of competences includes:
- In-depth knowledge of the advanced trends of technological development
- Skills of product life cycle management
- Skills of integrated logistic support of new products creation
- In-depth knowledge of modern approaches to production organization including TQM, lean production, best international practices, etc.
- Skills of planning and economic assessment of scientific and technological development
- In-depth knowledge of organizational and economic instruments for resource management of innovative projects

Exchange Semester:
The program includes one exchange semester (approx. 20 ECTS) at partner university with further transfer of credits obtained if a student has passed all exchange courses with a minimum “D” grade or better; the cost of tuition fee for exchange semester is included into the program tuition fee; the costs of living, transport and insurance is not included and should be covered by a student; a limited number of scholarships are available on competitive basis.

Graduates of the program are qualified to: strategically lead and organize business processes and research operations in an trade and any commercial company; lead investment programs and projects and collaborate with government agencies, business and international experts; improve business processes in line with international standards; assess and utilize competitive advantages of business; collaborate effectively with shareholders, other market participants, national and international government bodies and regulators.
