Russian as a foreign language is a comprehensive study program aimed to develop communicative proficiency and competency in Russian language and Russian culture.

The curriculum is built on the level-based approach and offers training of the key language skills from introductory to advanced levels in: pronunciation, listening, reading, speaking, writing, and grammar. In addition, all our language courses have a built-in culture component designed to introduce students not only to the language, but also to the social culture as expressed in so-called unspoken rules for the social conduct (e.g. gift-giving, phone etiquette, being a guest in someone’s home, etc.).
