The Master's program is carried out on the basis of two departments: the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology and the Department of Russian and Foreign Literature. The organization of the curriculum of this Master's program involves the deepening of the basic knowledge obtained within the bachelor's program, with an individual approach to each master's student.

The importance and relevance of the Master's program is due to the growing need of society for highly qualified competent philologists who know both components of philology (literary criticism and linguistics) on a high level; who are ready to carry out diverse activities professionally.

Employment options for graduates: graduates can successfully work as teachers in higher and secondary educational institutions; translators in educational, cultural, management institutions; employees in literary and art museums, editors and proofreaders in the field of media, as well as continue their studies in graduate school.

The Master's program is open for students who are specialized not only in philology and pedagogy, but in other humanitarian as well as natural science specialties as long as they show appropriate level of English proficiency.
