  The program was developed on the basis of the Federal State Education Standard 3+, taking into account the needs of the regional labor market, traditions and achievements of the scientific and pedagogical school of the University, with consideration of the requirements of federal legislation. Education program is aimed at forming general cultural and professional competences in accordance with the requirements of Federal State Education Standard 3+, and is also focused on training of highly qualified and competitive specialists in the field of history and history teaching.

  The field of professional activity: work in higher educational institutions, educational institutions of secondary vocational education, archives, museums, libraries, specialized academic institutes and other research institutes, expert-analytical and research centers, public and state organizations of information and analytical profile; in the media (including electronic), government and local governments, in tourist and excursion organizations, business.

  Objects of professional activity: historical processes and phenomena in their socio-cultural, political, economic, personal dimensions and their reflection in historical sources and public consciousness
