Programme Director: Grineva Victoria
Chair: Chair of Сomputer Modelling
Description:
The Master's programme in Aerodynamics takes place on the campus of
Zhukovsky.
It combines theoretical, computational and experimental aspects of aerodynamics to give a complete picture in this field of science. The curriculum combines classical methods with modern trends.
The programme explores:
- Aerodynamics of high-speed flows
- Viscous gas dynamics
- Computational aerodynamics
- Modern methods of theoretical fluid mechanics
- Gas dynamics of combustion
- Analytical methods in aeromechanics
- Unstable aeromechanics
- Physical basis for industrial wind tunnel testing
- Turbulence
-
As a result of the training, the graduate will have knowledge and skills in analytical, computational and experimental methods of aeromechanics and aerodynamics, enabling him/her to solve a wide range of theoretical and practical problems of aerospace science.
