The educational program is aimed at training professional orientalists with the following competencies: preparation of academic and expert-analytical review materials, journalistic reports on retrospective and topical issues of socio-political development of Korea and Japan, the use of modern theoretical and methodological tools of research in the field of Oriental studies for processing and verifying information in the preparation of academic and journalistic reports and review materials on current socio-political processes in the NEA countries, preparation, implementation and support of projects of interaction of Russian organizations with interested structures of the countries of Northeast Asia, preparation of practical recommendations for optimizing activities in the field of regional cooperation of the Far Eastern regions of Russia with the NEA countries, preparation of teaching materials, seminars, verification of student papers on historical and political studies in the field of Oriental studies.

Current problems of Oriental studies; Research seminar; Scientific style of the Russian language; Module "History of Korea": Korean language; Ancient Korean language (Hanmun); Historiography of Korea Information resources and their analysis in Korean studies; Socio-political conflict on the Korean Peninsula; Module "Politics of Japan": Japanese language, Foreign policy strategy of Japan in Northeast Asia; Development of Modern Information Society in Northeast Asia: Japan Spiritual and Material culture of Japan.
