Programme Focus
The programme is aimed at training bachelors of Mathematics, whose professional activities include working in research centers, government agencies, educational institutions and high technology companies. Students of this profile get fundamental knowledge in mathematics, computer sciences and special subjects. “Computer sciences”, “Applied informatics” and “Probability theory” are departments of this profile. The major subjects are: Calculus, Computer Geometry and Geometric Modeling, Programming, Differential Equations, Computer networks, Java and its applications etc. The document of completion is the State Diploma of Higher Education. The chairs are equipped with modern laboratory and technical facilities: Wi-Fi based self-sufficient laboratories, classrooms with multimedia training aids, eLearning including virtual classes and special labs. Mathematical departments of the faculty are proud to have five academicians and corresponding members of Academy of Sciences, 20 doctorates and professors and 50 PhD holders.

Training and scientific research vocational placement are passed both on the basis of the Computer centre management information technology services PFUR, and on the basis of scientific and educational labs «Management of telecommunications» and «Optics of nanostructures» Department of applied Informatics and probability theory.
