-expert in geological and economic assessment of mineral deposits;
-expert in subsoil use of the state geological service;
-expert in forecasting and assessing dangerous geological processes. Graduates can also work in drilling or oil and gas production enterprises, organizations for well repair, storage, or transportation of hydrocarbons. Another possible area is the departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Energy, Gosstroy, and environmental organizations.
