A new excursion project will show Moscow through the eyes of foreigners

To show the changes in Moscow's industrial territories through the eyes of foreigners who have become residents of the Russian capital - this is the goal of the new project "Moscow through the Eyes of Expats", launched to celebrate the City Day. As part of it, excursions to industrial areas will be conducted, which have found a second life in a different quality.

Excursions will be held on weekends until the end of this year, and will be free of charge. Participants of these edutainment trips will learn about the contribution of foreign manufacturers to the industrial development of Moscow. The project starts on September 11 with an excursion dedicated to the French, who developed the textile industry of the capital.

The office of Moscow’s mayor said that the abandoned industrial areas will get a different look and a new application through the “Industrial Quarters” project. Currently, experts and investors are considering the feasibility of transforming more than 130 abandoned industrial areas.
