Belarusian Schoolchildren Will Get Samara University Scholarships

From February 20 to March 3, 2017 the University representatives will arrange the Olympiads in several subjects in some Belarusian cities.

Minsk, Gomel and Brest school-goers will have an opportunity to test their knowledge of three majors, which are necessary to enter Samara University (Mathematics, Physics and Russian).

The Olympiads are divided into three rounds. Each of them is considered a separate contest, the participants of which will be awarded prizes and certificates in case of victory. Having taken Samara University entrance examinations, Belarusian schoolchildren will be able to “exchange” the prizes and certificates for 10 points, which will be added to the passing score. A special present – scholarships covering education fees – has been prepared for those who will participate in all three rounds and win a victory. 

Samara University representatives say that not only victory is important, but also the opportunity to try one’s strengths and get acquainted with the competition tasks. The last year Olympiad participants, who decided to study at Samara University, not only managed to cope with the entrance examinations successfully, but got good marks during the first session as well.
