HSE Invites Foreigners to English Medium Summer Schools

Classes will run in St Petersburg in July - August.

Higher School of Economics St Petersburg opens applications for international summer schools 2019. They will host between 1 July and 18 August. The course length can vary from one to six weeks. HSE offers such fields of study as computer science, data analysis, business, management, Russian language and culture, history, politics, economics and design. Of the 19 short programmes, 15 are new including BRICS in Global Economy, Soviet History: Russia in the age of transformation, Functional Programming, Proof and Print etc. Instruction is provided in English; the participants’ proficiency should be at B2 or higher; no special skills are required. After completing the course, students take an examination and get ECTS credits depending on their results.

HSE summer schools are an excellent opportunity to enhance one’s knowledge in the chosen subject, visit one of the most beautiful cities in the world, get to know its architecture and learn more about Russian culture. A cruise along St Petersburg canals and a walking tour will be arranged for all students.

Applications for the international summer schools are open till 10 April 2019 (for non-EU residents) and till 10 May (for residents of the EU and visa-free travel countries); tuition fee starts upwards of 29,000 rubles (390 euros).
