LETI Offers Foreign Nationals New English-Taught Power Engineering Programme

Prospective students from abroad can apply till May 2019.

Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University “LETI” launches new English-taught masters programme in Efficient Electric Power Industry. It targets holders of bachelor’s degree in engineering who plan to make a career in power engineering, electrical engineering or energy management. Masters students will be introduced to electromagnetic compatibility principles, safety maintenance systems, renewable energy use and modelling of processes in power industry. They can also improve their technical English skills and hear a course in history of science and technology. Length of study is two years; graduates are awarded a master’s degree. Tuition fee is 198,000 rubles ($3,300) a year.

Prospective students are requested to register on the LETI website, fill out the application and mail a copy of passport, a copy of bachelor’s degree certificate with notarised translation into Russian and the English proficiency certificate to master@etu.ru. Admission depends on the tests and interview score; the previous degree grade point average is taken into account.

Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University "LETI” offers prospective international students seven masters programmes in English including RF, Microwave and Terahertz Engineering of Wireless Systems, Photovoltaics and Solar Energy Technology and Automation and Mechatronics.
