Open Doors: Russian Scholarship Project is your chance to enter a Russian university for free!

Registration for the fourth International Open Doors Olympiad 2020-2021 is open. You can participate from any corner of the planet and get a unique opportunity to enter a master's or doctoral programme at one of the best universities in Russia for free.

Applicants from all over the world that show excellent results in the competition can enter one of the 500 Russian universities without entrance exams. These are universities participating in such international rankings as THE, QS and ARWU.

In 2020, the organizers added 6 new profiles for future graduate students to the 14 directions of the master's track. Foreign citizens and Russians permanently residing abroad can choose one profile following two conditions: for a master's track, you'd need to be in the last year of a bachelor's or specialist's programme, or have a diploma; to participate in the doctoral course – a specialist or master's degree.

The selection stages are held online in English and Russian. Firstly, a portfolio competition is held for all applicants, then successful candidates move up to the second stage – a series of proctored online tests in the chosen profile. The doctoral track also includes interviews with potential academic advisors of the participant's choice.

The Olympiad is held with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the organizer of the project is the Association "Global Universities". In the 2019-2020 academic year, the project brought more than 33 thousand participants from 191 countries – 525 students from 75 countries now study at Russian universities. This year, participants will find even more fascinating fields for future education.
