Series of adaptation lectures for foreign students

On September 3, 2021, a series of meetings for foreign first-year students started in Siberian Federal University.

This year, 356 foreign students from the CIS countries, as well as from Egypt, Ecuador, Iraq, China and many other countries, entered SibFU.

The lectures will be held as part of the Comprehensive plan to counter the ideology of terrorism in the Russian Federation in 2019-2023.

The event was organized by the university’s Regional center for the study and prevention of extremism and terrorism, in cooperation with the Department of social and cultural adaptation of foreign citizens and the Library and publishing complex.

In total, 10 meetings will be held with participation of the Center’s experts: specialists in religious studies, linguists, lawyers, employees of the library of SFU, and others.
