SibFU International Students Took Internship at Rosneft Enterprise

Graduate students major in Chemistry and Oil and Gas Technology.

SibFU students from Iran and Ghana had practice at Rosneft’s Achinsk refinery. Rosneft is one of the world’s largest oil producers. The interns studied petroleum products processing, saw hydroprocessing units for various kinds of fuel (petrol, diesel oil and jet fuel) and hydrogen sulphide recycling and visited the refinery’s Product Quality Control Laboratory.

This hands-on experience is very important as it provides the opportunity for students to operate modern equipment and see state-of-the-art technology put to practical use. Oil and gas technology is among the most promising areas nowadays; professionals in this area are in demand on the labour markets of many countries.
