SUSU Global Admissions Accept Students from 40 Countries

The popularity of South Ural State University among foreign applicant continues to grow. Despite the pandemic, the university has exceeded last year's admissions by accepting 770 people from 40 different countries.

The origin-country geography of these students is surprisingly extensive: Algeria, Bangladesh, Haiti, Ghana, Zimbabwe, India, Yemen, Cameroon, Canada, Lebanon, USA, Cuba, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia and many others. Most applicants this year came from Kazakhstan and China, and the number of students from Egypt, Iraq and Syria has increased significantly. Almost 500 people chose bachelor's and speciality degrees, 258 chose master's, 15 people became young scientists taking postgraduate research courses.

Students enrolled nearly in all fields of study. Economics, mechatronics and robotics, info-communication technologies and communication systems, electronics and computer science, linguistics, mechanical engineering and energy became the favourites among bachelor students.

Masters preferred English-language programmes: Economics, Management, Business Informatics, Finance and Credit, Philology, Fundamental Computer Science and Information Technology, Heat and Power Engineering, Mechatronics and Robotics.
