New Aademic Year Starts for Russian Students

September 1, the first day of classes, was a merry day throughout the country.

School year in Russia starts on the Knowledge Day, 1st of September. Having returned from summer practice and vacation, students always gladly celebrate this day. The day is particularly festive for freshmen – they are awarded their IDs in a stately matriculation ceremony. 

On this day, foreign students meet their classmates as well as curators and tutors who will help them with adaptation in the new environment.
