Foreign students of UNN were given a tour of Nizhny Novgorod

In early February, foreign students of Lobachevsky University participated in the Student track as part of the “Look at Nizhny Novgorod” project. This project is implemented by the Nizhny Novgorod Tourism Department with the aim of promoting the city as an international tourist and educational center, as well as the city for comfortable living for young foreign students.

Track "Student" involves a branch of sightseeing bus tours, introducing the historical and tourist sites of Nizhny Novgorod.

On February 5 more than 50 UNN students from Serbia, Iraq, Turkey, Algeria, Morocco, Chad, Thailand, Egypt, Congo, Italy, China, Mexico and Turkmenistan went for a city sightseeing tour, visited the wall of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin and the Nizhny Novgorod stadium on the Arrow.

The culmination of the trip was the  ice show and the celebration of the New Year according to the Eastern calendar, organized especially for our students, at the main skating rink of the Switzerland Park. Students even managed to send a group video greeting to athletes from different countries performing at the Winter Olympics in Beijing!
