HSE International Youth Olympiad: Applications Open

Prospective international students of the year 2021/2022 can take part in the competition and get university admission preferences.

Registration is open for the Higher School of Economics annual intellectual competition. In 2020, the International Youth Olympiad will run from 22 October to 29 October. It welcomes international schoolchildren in 11th - 12th grades, students and international alumni under 30 years of age who want to enrol in HSE bachelor’s or specialist programmes. The Olympiad covers 17 fields such as history, journalism, psychology, physics, mathematics, social sciences etc. Each participant can select up to five subjects; problems will be presented in Russian and English.

To apply for the Olympiad, register at the HSE website by 12 October and upload your motivation letter. Competition will be held onsite and online in Russia and abroad. Olympiad venues will be set up in Mongolia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, USA, China, Brazil, Germany, Czech Republic and other countries. The schedule of tests and the list of venues will be published in September.

Olympiad winners admitted to HSE are entitled to tuition fee discount. The university offers international applicants more than 300 education programmes, including English medium programmes. More information you will find here.
