HSE St Petersburg to Launch Nine New Programmes

Students can pursue degrees in a variety of fields, from business to Russian literature.

HSE added a Russian medium undergraduate programme designed to train research physicists for academic career. To enrol in this programme, international applicants have to pass the entrance examinations in physics and Russian. Six new programmes are offered to prospective master’s students. International Business is a new practice-oriented programme for English-speaking applicants. Students who are interested in studying in Russian, are offered the graduate programmes Russian Literature in Cross-Cultural and Intermedia Contexts, Media Production and Media Analytics, Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, Intellectual Property Right in the Digital Era and Machine Learning and Data Analysis. HSE is also beginning the first intake for two completely reworked graduate programmes, Arts and Cultural Management and Global and Regional History. Prospective master’s students are required to prepare the application portfolio which includes a cover letter, recommendations etc. and pass an interview.

Tuition fees for new programmes range from $4,000 to $6,500 a year. Depending on the examination results, students can be eligible for full scholarship or a 75-percent tuition fee discount.
