The university is holding an academic competition for prospective CIS students.

Kazan Federal University Olympiad “I’m a KFU master’s student” targets CIS nationals who completed undergraduate or specialist studies and want to continue their education on KFU masters programmes. The competition is held in 56 fields, including mathematics, biology, chemistry, geography, geology, oil and gas field development, linguistics, political science, economics, management, advertisement, public relations, power engineering, electrical engineering etc. See the complete list on the university website. The Olympiad is made up of two stages. Tryouts are held online till 1 April 2019. To take part in the Olympiad, register on the university website, go to the section “Olympiad for Prospective KFU masters students,” choose your field and start the test. The most successful candidates qualify for the finals to be held on KFU premises in Kazan. The date will be announced after the end of the preliminary round. Olympiad winners are eligible for admission to KFU graduate programmes without entrance examinations.
