MISIS Launches New Masters Programme in Linguistics

Language of instruction is English.

National University of Science and Technology MISIS offers prospective international students a new English medium graduate programme “Second Language Teaching and Pedagogical Design in Digital Environments.” It targets bachelor’s and specialist degree holders focused on teaching career. Students can also choose one of the two modules: English or Russian as a Foreign Language. Over two years, they will study Language Education, Language and Text Theory, Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages and application of modern digital technologies in designing education courses. Graduates are awarded a master’s degree in linguistics.

To be admitted to the programme, prospective international students have to pass an online interview in English. Topic of the interview: intercultural communication. English language proficiency requirement: B2 level or higher. The candidates who choose the module Russian as a Foreign Language must have B1 level (TRKI-1) or higher. Online interviews start on 11 February 2019.
