Rossotrudnichestvo warns of a fake website for Russian universities’ foreign applicants!

A fake Internet resource has appeared on the Internet: https://educationrussia.ru/. Visually, the structure of this website repeats that of the State Information System "Education in the Russian Federation for Foreigners" https://education-in-russia.com/, where citizens of other countries can apply for a Russian scholarship (quota).

Multiple errors immediately catch your eye, like poor-quality machine translation, or universities’ location inconsistencies in the “Map of Universities” section, and many more.

Rossotrudnichestvo warns: the website https://educationrussia.ru/ was deliberately designed for phishing, that is, for obtaining personal data of foreign applicants through the logins and passwords they enter.

Using this website threatens the security of your data!

Due to the threat of personal data leakage through the compromised accounts on this phishing site, Rossotrudnichestvo has turned to the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation with the request to ban this domain.
