Scientists from Russia and Vietnam have developed innovative technologies in the field of information security

Scientists from the North Caucasus Federal University (NCFU), together with colleagues from Vietnam, have developed innovative technologies to ensure the security of cloud storage and data processing. The project of NCFU scientists provides an integrated approach to the security system, reliability, high speed of encryption / decryption and multi-criteria adaptation to changing parameters of the cloud environment.

Based on the results obtained by scientists, a modification of a distributed data storage system was created, the parameters for constructing alternative error correction codes were refined, methods for building adaptive security were developed that allow increasing the access speed and reliability of data storage in the clouds, depending on the system parameters. A set of programs has also been prepared to evaluate the technical characteristics of the system: download and upload speed, availability and integrity of data stored in the clouds.

NCFU reported that work on the project is ongoing and a patent will be received in the near future. The project is being implemented as part of a grant from the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, provided to universities to ensure the conduct of scientific research by Russian scientific and educational organizations of higher education together with organizations from countries in South and Southeast Asia and the countries of the Middle East.
