The university invites international students to summer schools.

Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University holds English medium schools for foreign nationals in nine fields including information and space technologies, civil engineering, power engineering, Russian language and culture and business and management. Several programmes are available in some of the fields; you can choose any. Classes are held in July, August and September; course length is one to three weeks. Students get ECTS credits upon course completion; the number of credits depends on the module. The entertainment programme includes tours of St Petersburg and environs, boat tours, picnics etc. Summer school tuition fees range between 205 to 740 euros depending on course length and specialisation. To apply, choose the appropriate summer school using our search tool, sign into the website and write to the school organisers directly; it’s free and won’t take much time.

Summer school participants can assess the university and the teaching process and decide if it is worthwhile enrolling in basic programmes here. Also, it is an excellent opportunity to find friends from different countries and learn about Russian culture. More information on Russian universities’ summer schools 2018.
