TSU Winter School: Come and Study Russian

Tomsk State University offers a short winter programme from February 13 until February 24, 2017. It is open to international students interested in Russian culture and improving their Russian language skills. A basic level of Russian will be sufficient for admission.

To apply, please submit your CV, indicate your Russian language proficiency and attach a certificate confirming your level (if you have one). Also, a motivation letter and a filled-out form will be required. The course fee of 40,000 rubles (615 $) includes airport transfers, tuition, course materials, accommodation at the campus, social program, and meals on weekdays.

This intensive winter course includes 60 hours of Russian (grammar basics, pronunciation, written and oral language skills) and 20 hours of Russian culture, history and Siberia studies.

Students will not be bored after classes: they will enjoy tours around Tomsk and surroundings, visits to museums, theaters, classic and folk music concerts. They will also have opportunities for skiing and skating and an outdoor picnic.
