UrFU – MIPT New IT Programme

Two universities jointly designed a master’s degree programme in information security.

Training in one of the most popular fields will be provided at Ural Federal University with the assistance of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology experts and personnel of the partner company Ural Security Systems Centre. The USSC specialises in the design, implementation and support of information security and technical safety solutions across various levels.

Students will study more than 20 engineering disciplines such as big data analysis methods and tools, organisation of secure network communications, legal aspects of information security etc. Field-specific practice classes will be arranged at laboratories of UrFU institutes. Length of study: two years. Graduates will be able to design modern complex information protection methods and means and effectively use the gained knowledge in their careers.
