Editors of StudyinRussia.ru made a survey in social media groups.

We asked users to choose the Russian city in which they would like to receive higher education.

Russia is a big country, there are 950 universities here, in 798 of them international students are studying. Sure, it was impossible to list all cities, so we chose largest.

Here are the results of voting: Moscow predictably is at the first place (35.7%), St. Petersburg is the second (34.8%). By the way, St. Petersburg recently entered the top 10 best tourist cities of Europe according to TripAdvisor. So, the students have an excellent opportunity to combine study and sightseeing. However, in every Russian city there is something worthy of attention.

Kazan (9.6%) is at the third place, Ekaterinburg (6.1%) is the fourth, Novosibirsk (4.3%) is the fifth. More information about these and other Russian cities you can find here.
