Foreign students took part in the Winter aerospace school

The results of the international Winter aerospace school have been summed up. It was held by Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), a participant of the Priority 2030 program. The event brought together more than 250 students fr om China’s leading universities. The project has become one of the largest in students’ further education at MAI.

For five years, MAI’s Directorate of advanced scientific programs has been organizing a summer educational intensive course for students from foreign universities. Every time it has become one of the largest international events of the summer. This year the organizers decided to have a Winter school. The event was held online with daily live meetings and Q&A sessions, wh ere students could get feedback, ask questions and chat with teachers.

The main topic of the program was additive technologies in the aerospace industry. At the end of the training the students presented their own projects to a commission of reputable experts. In addition to the academic component, the Winter school included an entertaining and ethnographic block, which was dedicated to Russian history, literature, the sights of Moscow and St. Petersburg and, most importantly, the real Russian New Year celebration.
