HED – Siberian Federal – the Uni of your dream. Contest for international applicants

Siberian Federal University and Higher Education Discovery magazine invite you to take part in the creative competition HED – Siberian Federal – the Uni of your dream. The winner can get a 50% discount for the entire period of study at SibFU and many other prizes.

If studying at a prestigious Russian university is your dream, you're fascinated by the culture of the country and already learning Russian, this competition is for you! Create an original project about SibFU or the entire Krasnoyarsk region and share it online with everyone. Submit the project by March 31, 2021.

Unleash your creativity! Write a short essay, make a video or photo story, record an original song or any other audio. Just choose one of 10 topics:
1. Why I want to study at SibFU.
2. SibFU: cold outside, warm inside.
3. Extracurricular activities at SibFU (what would I do besides studying?).
4. SibFU: a place where science is born.
5. The uniqueness of the Krasnoyarsk Region (architecture, ecology, history, etc.).
6. Famous people from the Krasnoyarsk Region.
7. How SibFU will help me get success.
8. SibFU in solving global problems.
9. Krasnoyarsk is the gastronomic capital of Siberia.
10. SibFU campus is my smart house.

You do not need to know Russian to participate in the competition, but additional points are awarded for using it. The jury will also take into account how well you explore the topic, information content you use and whether you use university features, etc. Post your project on social media and attach a link during registration.

The first-place winner will receive a 50% discount for the university tuition. The runner-up gets free university accommodation and a VHI insurance policy. And the third-place winner can enrol in a one-year Russian language course at the preparatory department for international students for free. The organizers have also prepared prizes for the first 10 participants.
