Join MISIS master’s programs without entrance exams!
On December 1, the International project competition named after Academician A.A.Bochvar began at NUST MISIS. The competition is for master’s programs applicants from all countries. Students in their final year or university graduates may present their papers in Russian or English.
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for the first time allocated places within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation in the 2022/23 academic year for the winners and prize-winners of the project competition named after A.A. Bochvar from among foreign citizens and stateless persons.
In total, in the next academic year, five budget places will be allocated for the Olympiad profiles: informatics and computer technology, linguistics, materials science and materials technology, metallurgy, nanotechnology and microsystem technology.
The competition is held both in technical subjects and humanities. To participate, you should present your semester or year paper, pop-science article or your own research in Russian or English, depending on the chosen domain.
The competition has two stages, the selection stage and the final stage, wh ere the participants will present their projects. The presentations will be done online, and the projects will be evaluated according to several criteria: value of the research, organization and logic of the paper, etc.
The winners will get 100 points in their major subject, which will let them enter MISIS master’s programs without exams. The runners-up may submit the results as the exam results and participate in the general competition for the programs.
Last year, more than 400 students from 8 different countries presented their works. All in all, since 2016, more than 3000 applicants have taken part in the international competition named after academician A.A. Bochvar.
