Quest for MIPT University graduates from foreign countries was held instead of graduation

Last week, a quest for foreign students was held on the MIPT University campus. The participants were this year's alumni who have completed undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs from Vietnam, China, Myanmar, Iran, India, Nigeria, Egypt and Syria.

During the quest, the graduates were asked to complete a number of tasks related to student life in Russia. They remembered how they first arrived at MIPT University and settled in hostels, what problems they encountered while learning Russian and how they dealt with migration issues. In addition, the experience of intense study and passing exams at the University came in handy in the game.

Based on the results of the quest, all participants got gifts and were offered to take part in a photo shooting organized by the International Department of MIPT University. As a general rule, graduates of 2021 from foreign countries received their diplomas at the Dean's offices of Phystech schools.

One of the MIPT alumni, Ogunleye Adewale Joseph, shared his impressions of the quest: “I liked this unformal graduation format. It seems to me that this allowed us us to adhere to the traditional format, but observe precautions in the event of a pandemic. " In the future, Joseph plans to continue his studies at Phystech Department.
