| Is there a dormitory for international students at the university? | Foreign students of KFU live in the residential area "The Universiade Village". There are modern comfortable hostels of the hotel type. This is the largest and well-equipped student campus in Russia which can accommodate 8,699 people. |
| Is the dormitory far from academic buildings? | The Universiade Village is located 11 minutes away by car and 30 - 40 minutes by public transport (Bus or Trolleybus). |
| How many people live in one room? | Foreign students live in lodging units. There are rooms with one- two-, three- and four-bed accommodation. PhD and graduate students have the advantage of settling in double rooms. |
| Where are the facilities situated (shower, WC)? | In each living room there is a combination bathroom. |
| Where is the kitchen situated? Is it equipped with home appliances and utensils | In each room/lodging unit there is a small kitchen with a refrigerator, a kitchen sink, cupboards and electric stove. Students purchase kitchen utensils themselves. |
| What does university provide for students when they move in? | There is a bed, a wardrobe, a table, a bedside-table and a bookshelf in each room. Bedclothing is provided. |
| Is there Wi-Fi at the dormitory? | Each student can sign a contract for the use of the Internet; the cost is 500 rubles per month. You can use both a wired connection and Wi-Fi. |
| Does the dorm building have additional facilities? | In each building of the Universiade Village there are study rooms, laundry (about 250 rubles per wash cycle). All buildings on the territory of the Universiade Village are equipped with CCTV and air-conditioning systems. There is all necessary infrastructure: medical center, pharmacy, beauty salon, supermarket, canteen, post office, solarium, bank, art studio, cafe, driving school, Universiade 2013 Museum, rental center of sports equipment and playgrounds for basketball, volleyball , etc. |
| What is the monthly fee for dormitory? | Accommodation fee is 525 rubles/month (there is additional fee for electric devices usage). |
