The Graduate School of Economics and Management of Ural Federal University is one of the largest institutes of UrFU, established in 2019 as a result of the merger of the Graduate School of Economics and Management and the Institute of Public Administration and Entrepreneurship. The Institute of Natural Sciences and Mathematics trains specialists in natural and computer sciences, mathematics and mechanics. The Institute of Physics and Technology is an advanced educational and scientific center that provides training and research in materials science, nuclear, information and biomedical technologies. The mission of the Institute is to train highly qualified personnel, as well as to develop scientific, educational and innovative solutions for this sector. The Institute researches the most topical problems of fuel, renewable and nuclear energy, energy saving, energy engineering, and economics in the energy sector.
The Institute has more than 2,000 students. There are 53 professors and doctors of sciences among the faculty. About a third of the faculty are industry professionals: heads of departments and services of power enterprises, chief designers.
