The Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation approved an updated list of foreign educational and scientific organizations whose diplomas are recognized in Russia. It included 371 educational and scientific organizations from 35 countries, which is 40% more than the lists approved in 2019.

The head of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia Valery Falkov noted that the innovations will affect not only diplomas of education, but also qualifications, academic degrees and titles.

Such a mechanism will make it possible to avoid unnecessary bureaucratic procedures for highly qualified personnel and researchers who graduated from the world's leading universities. The new measures will help attract the best international-level professionals to Russian science and education, and will also facilitate the return of domestic specialists to their homeland,” the minister said.

The list included educational and scientific organizations from Germany, USA, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, the Netherlands, Austria, Brazil, Denmark, Israel, Ireland, Spain, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Finland, Switzerland, Sweden , South Korea and Japan. In addition, this year the list includes for the first time educational and scientific organizations from countries such as Argentina, Qatar, Colombia, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, UAE, Poland, Portugal, Chile, Czech Republic and Estonia.
