The summer school programme included lectures and practice at university laboratories.

A summer school in materials and technologies has ended at National University of Science and Technology MISIS. For two weeks, 12 trainees from China attended lectures on metallic biomaterials, nanofilms, optoelectronics, smart materials, solar cell design, thermodynamics and kinetics and solved practical problems. The MISIS Centre of Composite Materials showcased the use of various materials in biomedicine and the FabLab digital production laboratory offered 3D printing practice. Several theme tours were arranged for the Chinese students. They visited the Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre at the VDNKh All-Russian Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy for an overview of spacecraft power supply system, and the MISIS Geological Museum where they heard a lecture on minerals properties and admixtures and saw collections of minerals found in Russia and other countries. All the students received summer school certificates.

Aside from studies, the Chinese nationals toured Moscow and experienced Russian traditions. They had a general sightseeing tour of Moscow, walked in city parks, visited several museums such as the Museum of Decorative and Applied Arts and learnt the basics of a Russian folk dance.
