FEFU Presents Four New PhD Programmes

International prospective students can apply for state-funded or self-funded places.

Far Eastern Federal University is a leading Russian higher education institution. It offers 90 PhD programmes in 30 fields and has more than 500 postgraduates; of those 64 are foreign nationals. Four Russian-taught postgraduate programmes are available starting this year: Information Measuring and Management Systems, Robots, Mechatronics and Robotechnical Systems, Technology and Merchandising Food Functional and Special Purposes and Catering, Technology of Meat, Dairy and Fish Products and Refrigerating Manufactures. Residents of any country are welcome to apply. If a prospective student is not proficient in Russian, they can take a language course at FEFU Preparatory Department before beginning postgraduate study.

To participate in the enrolment competition, students are required to show a specialist’s or master’s degree diploma and successfully pass the tryouts to be held on 6-18 August 2018. FEFU Admissions Board will review the candidate’s individual achievements such as articles in specialised publications, invention patents, research leadership experience and speeches at scientific conferences. PhD degree is awarded to candidates after successful PhD thesis defence at the end of the course. Applications are open from 2 July till 31 July 2018; you can contact university representatives now.
