The winners can enter Higher School of Economics as scholarship students.

HSE is organising an academic competition for students and bachelor’s degree holders from any country. It covers 76 engineering and humanities fields such as mathematics, business informatics, computer systems and networks, foreign languages and intercultural communication, world economy, game theory, civil law and civil process etc. Each track has one or several masters programmes. A maximum of two tracks can be chosen. The Olympiad language is Russian, but in certian subjects, problems will be presented in English (the list of the subjects will be published later).

The Olympiad will be held in Russian cities as well as in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan on 14-16 February, 2020. Contests in some fields will be held online on 19-21 February. Among them are Russian literature and compartive studies, ancient and eastern archeology, HR-analytics etc. The onsite and online examination schedules are available on the university website which also offers training materials in all subjects and previous Olympiads’ problems. Register before January 20, 2020 to take part in the Olympiad. The winners are admitted to HSE graduate scholarship programmes.
