HSE Preparatory Department Invitation

Higher School of Economics Perm international student intake is underway.

Applications are open for undergraduate and graduate Russian-taught programmes starting in 2020. The foundation programme runs from October 2019 to July 2020. Students will have an intensive Russian course to raise their proficiency to Level B1. They will acquire basic grammar skills, learn to understand printed texts (books, newspapers) and develop daily communication skills. The programme includes an extra discipline, for example, mathematics, history etc. depending on the student’s future specialisation. The HSE Preparatory Department has several advantages. First, it provides training for entrance examinations for degree programmes. Second, successful students are eligible for a 25 percent tuition fee discount.

Foundation programme fee: 95,000 rubles/$1,460 (includes basic study materials). Dormitory places are provided to all HSE students for ($9 - $10 per month). HSE Perm offers prospective international students six undergraduate programmes and seven masters programmes. The fields include economics, law, business informatics, management etc. Undergraduate programme fees range from 150,000 to 170,000 rublles a year ($2,310 - $2,615), the fee for any masters programme is 140,000 rubles a year ($2,150).
