Inter-University Vietnamese Culture Festival took place in St Petersburg

More than 500 people attended the event at Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University "LETI”.

Two hundred Vietnamese students from Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University “LETI”, ITMO National Research University and Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University took part in the festival. University teachers and St Petersburg Vietnamese community representatives were among the invitees.

Festival organizers prepared an interesting and versatile programme. An exhibition of Vietnamese culture presented historical photos, national costumes and utensils. Guests were treated to Vietnamese vegetable salad (Nom), rice pies, stuffed buns, Vietnamese sausage and bean drinks. National games and sport competitions were arranged and a film introducing top tourist destinations in Vietnam was shown. A concert featuring LETI students song and dance routine wrapped up the festival.
