The option is available to prospective self-funded students applying for undergraduate or specialist studies.

Kazan Federal University offers the first ever online entrance exam option. It is convenient to foreign nationals in the first place as they can save on travel expenses. Technical requirements: computer/notebook, minimum Internet speed of 1 mbps, OS Windows (7, 8, 8.1, 10) or Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10 or higher, Google Chrome browser (latest version as of the date of test), webcam and microphone. Tests will run from 12 July to 26 July 2019 (see the examination schedule on the university portal). To access the examination problems, prospective students have to create a personal account on the KFU website in the period from 20 June to 11 July and send to the Admissions Board a copy of passport, secondary school certificate legalised according to regulations (all documents have to be translated into Russian and notarised), and financial guarantees (account statement or letter of sponsorship) proving that the applicant can pay the tuition fee for the first year. As you submit your application, check the online examination option box. You will get a login and password to access the online test.

Please note that the online entrance exam option is only available to self-funded candidates applying for undergraduate or specialist studies. You can select programmes in Russian; KFU also offers two English medium specialist programmes: General Medicine and Dentistry. English medium programme applicants have to take examinations in chemistry, biology and English.
