More Than 1,000 Foreigners Enrol at South Ural State University

SUSU admitted citizens from Iraq, Iran, China, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Venezuela and former Soviet republics this year.

The Admission Office’s 2017 intake report said 1,140 international prospective students had entered South Ural State University. Six hundred and sixty-five people enrolled for undergraduate programmes, 191 for graduate programmes and 34 for postgraduate courses. SUSU Preparatory Department is ready to admit 250 students who will study Russian for a year before beginning their training in the chosen specialty.

The fields of study most popular with SUSU international students this year were IT, Engineering (Robotics and Mechatronics) and Humanities (Philology, Economics and Management).
