Russian Economics Universities: How Much Graduates Earn

The Superjob Research Centre has listed the universities which train successful financiers.

Experts compared the salaries of Russian universities graduates who worked in economics and finance. The study relied on data in the period from 2014 to 2019. Moscow State Institute of International Relations is the leader with alumni’s average monthly salary at 120,000 rubles (up 10,000 rubles from 2019). The runner up is Higher School of Economics (115,000 rubles, + 5,000). Lomonosov Moscow State University is ranked 3rd with graduates’ salary expectations at 107,000 rubles (+7,000).

The top 20 included Novosibirsk State University (8th), Kazan Federal University and Lobachevsky University (10th), Siberian Federal University (11th), People’s Friendship University of Russia (12th), National Research Tomsk State University, Ural and Far Easter Federal Universities (13th), Samara University (14th), South Ural State University (16th) and University of Tyumen (20th).

Superjob also surveys salaries of Russian graduates who work in other fields. Recently, it published the rankings of young IT specialists. Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology alumni topped the list. See details here.
