Classes will run from 22 January till 2 February 2018.

International Winter School held by Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University offers short English-taught programmes in Nuclear Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Turbomachinery. Lectures, practice, visits to nuclear and thermal power plants and energy companies are part of the course. Students are awarded five ECTS credits upon programme completion. In their free time, they can see the sights in and around St Petersburg.

Register on the website to participate in the winter school. Application deadline for EU residents is 7 January 2018, citizens of Russia and the countries with which it has visa-free travel can apply till 14 January 2018, and citizens of other countries till 3 December 2017. The course fee of 40,000 rubles ($680) includes the cost of study materials. Accommodation is paid for separately: foreigners can live in the university’s dormitory; a double occupancy room costs around 600 rubles ($10) per day.
