St. Petersburg University published a book for foreign students of Russian

The publishing house of St. Petersburg State University, with the support of the “Russky Mir” (“Russian World”) foundation, has presented a manual titled “The Simple and the Complex. Collection of tables of grammatical constructions with comments and exercises”. The authors of this book are scientists, staff of the Department of Theory and Methods of Teaching Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences, St. Petersburg State University.

The collection of tables is for foreign students studying Russian at the intermediate or advanced level.

The manual contains 15 topics supplied with summarizing tables of lexical and grammatical means, which are easy to use to express a particular grammatical function, as well as a number of exercises to check and consolidate the student’s knowledge. At the end of the manual keys and answers are provided, which makes the manual effective for self-study.

The printed books (200 copies) will be distributed among the libraries of the Russian Federation, as well as sent to the specialized organizations in Russia and abroad. The electronic book will soon be publicly available at St Petersburg University’s website and in the “IprBooks” electronic library. Right now you can also download the book’s PDF.
