Students of the Lobachevsky University have visited a stadium that will host some of FIFA 2018 games.

Nigerian, Zimbabwean and Angolan students from the university team have observed preparation for the 2018 Cup in Nizhny Novgorod together with future volunteers.

Their tour around the arena under construction focused on its modern features and facilities. The students wanted to learn how the prestigious games would be organized and who would train and play in the stadium after the end of the cup.

Jimmy Jr Mai, a second-year student from Nigeria, says that he dreams of watching his national team play in Nizhny Novgorod. Other students will also root for their teams.

With a capacity of 45,000 spectators, Nizhny Novgorod Stadium is being specially built for the soccer cup. It will host several qualifier games, as well as a Round of 16 and a quarter-finals match.

In 2018, Russia will host its first FIFA World Cup in 12 arenas in 11 cities.
